@SamirPradhann In India, even Rs. 4–5 crore can mean financial independence, if a person is financially literate, smart and disciplined.

@SMuthukkumar @AgentSaffron Population of SC/ST/OBC/FC will always be greater than reservation coz 100% reservation without merit is impossible. Merit is the priority for jobs/education across world. Reservation is just opportunity In merit if 10 ppl exist all 10 must get;in reservation only some% get in

Over many decades, anti- Brahmin approach has got diluted by DMK. It served the purpose and the power shift is complete. Brahmin's anti-DMK stand is keeping them away from power than DMKs anti-Brahmin stand. If Brahmins accept DMK also as a choice, they can get their fair share in power over the period. I am afraid, if you people can play your cards rightly, you can regain many lost privileges through the same Dravidian eco system.

@whiteuhearttu Optional schemes ≠ structured school learning. Not every student has access or continuity outside school. If that logic holds, why teach English in school at all? Education should ensure equal opportunity, not depend on optional programs.

Why not ? we've got better options 🖤❤️ Video context : Under ‘Vetri Nichayam Scheme,’ students get trained in the language they prefer. A student who benefited thanked the government in German. #VoteForDMK
Preejith Jay@Preejit98228437

@whiteuhearttu “No study” doesn’t mean “no benefit.” By that logic, we’d stop teaching many skills. Multilingualism clearly improves mobility, employability, and cognitive ability. Where’s the study that says limiting to 2 languages is better? They want students in TN to not go outside of TN..

SC/ST/BC has to fight to get a seat even with reservation, as their population % is much higher than the reservation %. Whereas, EWS population is miniscule compared to their 10% quota - any one applies with just pass mark will get it. Even then seats are lying vacant. People who were against reservation, citing merit compromise, are accepting this huge anomaly.

@SMuthukkumar @AgentSaffron 1)Once deemed constitutionally valid,Reservation is a right&ought to be given; How can u deprive? SC/ST/OBC"caste"reservation has huge competition->Rich go to tuitions, have facilities, score high so cutoffs will be high;Same in EWS if implemented for any caste will have low cutoff

1. Court didn't order to implement. If there is a order, please share. 2. EWS % got fixed randomly without any scientific study. UP is with one of the high unreserved population - even there you are finding it difficult to fill the 10% quota. As there is no competition, many EWS shortlists are with marks lower than SC/ST cut off. This clearly shows, 10% is arbitrary and very disproportional. More than SC/ST/BC, EWS has taken away more seats from unreserved creamy layer people. 3. Supreme Court erred in this case. As you rightly mentioned, economic criteria is very fluid. Rich can become poor or a poor guy can become rich within a short period. In EWS, he will be in and out of the reservation.

Why not jointly? Union govt is not inclined to make it happen? If I am Union Secretary approving this project, will call for a set of meetings with all stakeholders, seek clarifications and guide them to place a viable DPR and make it happen at the earliest. Not by sending letters and holding it. Are they not getting paid from our taxes?

Under NEP Hindi looks as optional - in reality, as it is practically impossible to appoint teachers for all 22 scheduled languages. It is the reality in today's 3 language formula schools. Kid will be forced to pick Hindi only. We Tamilians cannot be fooled by such tricks. Regarding Dravidian party leaders (DMK & ADMK) running private schools is pure business - similar to Veg person owning a slaughter house for export.

In Maharashtra from class 3 to 10 we had Eng, hindi, marathi, history, geography, moral science, maths, science ( split in to PCB from class 8). When you are a 7 cr population n 60 plus crore speaks hindi no harm in learning it. If you dont want to its ur choice! What is called out is dmks hypocrisy in objecting to hindi ( in reality under NEP it is optional) while running cbse schools where hindi is taught but tamil isnt! Mr Anbil mahesh son learns french but not tamizh in school! This hypocrisy needs to be called out!

Answer this... if u dare @dpradhanbjp
Dharmendra Pradhan@dpradhanbjp

Hon’ble Chief Minister of Tamil Nadu, Thiru @mkstalin ji, your narrative of “imposition” is a tired attempt to mask political failures. The National Education Policy 2020 is, in fact, a manifesto for linguistic liberation. It prioritises the mother tongue so every Tamil child can excel in their own glorious language. By misrepresenting a flexible policy as “compulsory Hindi”, you are not defending Tamil; you are creating barriers that deny our youth the opportunity to become multilingual global leaders. Portraying multilingualism as a threat is misplaced. Tamil is not weakened by the learning of additional languages; it is enriched when its speakers are multilingual, confident and linguistically empowered. NEP upholds constitutional principles by promoting all languages equally and also addresses the limitations of the existing two-language system. It further focuses on implementation through initiatives such as Samagra Shiksha, teacher training, and strengthening institutions, like DIETs, along with national frameworks, such as NPST and NMM. Your questions on “reciprocity” ignore ground reality. Under the leadership of Hon’ble Prime Minister Shri @narendramodi ji, Tamil has been celebrated as a national treasure—from the Kashi Tamil Sangamam to the global stage. While the Union Government actively encourages students across India to embrace Indian languages, your government continues to deprive Tamil students of diverse opportunities for the sake of a divisive vote bank narrative. The talk of resources is merely a façade. It is the DMK government that has stalled the establishment of PM SHRI schools in Tamil Nadu by refusing to sign the MoU after giving an undertaking for the same. Despite the directions of the Supreme Court of India to establish Navodaya Vidyalayas in Tamil Nadu, your government continues to obstruct their implementation, prioritising political narratives over educational equity. This deliberate resistance is not merely administrative defiance; it is a direct disservice to lakhs of underprivileged students who stand to benefit from quality, merit-based residential education. This has effectively withheld modern infrastructure and teachers from its own students. The Union Government remains fully committed to funding and teacher training but progress is being held back by your “dishonest” politics. Mischaracterising a progressive, inclusive reform as ‘linguistic imposition’ is aimed at creating unnecessary apprehension and confusion. The real concern, perhaps, is not the policy’s clarity, but the Hon’ble Chief Minister’s unwillingness to acknowledge it. In doing so, he disregards the constitutional spirit that safeguards India’s linguistic diversity. Stop using the “Hindi imposition” argument to hide administrative failures and join the national mission of empowering every Indian language.

Friend - hardly <1% of TN kids migrate to North India for employment. Rest need not be bothered with a alien language. That 1% has options to study spoken version - multiple options available including online. For information, I did my schooling in Tamil medium without Hindi and have spent last 20 years in 3 North Indian Cities. Learnt spoken Hindi quickly and didn't face any significant difficulty in any walk of life. Did you live in anytime in North?

@SMuthukkumar @whiteuhearttu @dpradhanbjp *Hindi schools is what I ment, there are urudu specific gov schools in TN, if that doesn't affect you and you see it as their right, then certainly people should have options to learn Hindi in government schools. Let the kids decide.
