I am getting started with some chickens and have been looking for a coop. I had kinda sorta settled on one but wasn't 100% sure it would be the best fit. Struck me that I could ask @Grok. So I did. I was impressed. I gave it the parameters, answered some questions it posed, and voila, it showed me the top 3 suggestions with pros, cons, where I could get them. It picked my top three. Ha. Confirmation with a lot of info I didn't know to help me be sure I was on the right track, plus made suggestions for going forward, making them predator proof and more. I had it search for the best deals and it found the one I wanted on clearance with free shipping. I saved a nice chunk. On the 27th I officially start my chicken journey. I'm getting 3-4 pullets that will be around 4-5 months old. My neighbor who has loads of experience is going to pick them out for me. I hit the stores yesterday and started picking up supplies (pine shaving bedding, organic pellets with oyster calcium, watering and feeding stuff, etc.). I still have more to get. Open to any tips that will help a chicken newbie.

Over 250 journalists, including Dan Rather and Sam Donaldson, have signed an open letter demanding the White House Correspondents’ Association turn this Saturday’s dinner into a “forceful” political protest against President Trump. They want the podium used for a direct attack — a “forceful defense of freedom of the press and condemnation of those who threaten that freedom” — followed by a standing toast to the First Amendment, all while the president sits in the room. The letter accuses Trump of waging a “systematic war” on journalists through defamation lawsuits, favoring conservative outlets, and actions by FCC Chairman Brendan Carr. The signers insist the dinner must not “normalize” Trump’s presence and that the press must “fight back.” This is the same media that spent years pushing the Russia collusion hoax, shielding the Biden family, and labeling half the country as deplorables. Now they openly admit they want to hijack an event that’s supposed to celebrate the First Amendment and turn it into a partisan ambush. Record-low trust in the media isn’t a conspiracy — it’s the direct result of behavior like this. Americans see journalists dropping all pretense of neutrality and plotting political theater while claiming victimhood. The White House Correspondents’ Dinner was already a Beltway insider joke. These 250+ signers are proving exactly why the American people tuned them out long ago: they aren’t guardians of the press — they’re activists in press badges who despise the voters who put Trump back in office. President Trump is showing up anyway. The American people are watching, and the legacy media’s credibility is already in the gutter. This stunt will only drive it deeper.

This is the chicken coop I bought. It rolls, is expandable, and says it's easy to clean. I may add a small run and will be fortifying the bottom as I have seen a fox and heard we have coyotes in the area. Pretty sure this isn't clickable, but if it is, it will not go to the location where I purchased it. Grok found a deal that was almost half off.

You are correct that we have seen this increase in bad relationships between the justices or problems with leaks. And the court really does need to operate without leaks so that they can get their work done. Justices throughout the history of the court have said how important it is that they can work without fear of this type of public discussion of the topics. It is an attempt to go after the court and to achieve results that people are not able to achieve through normal court procedures. That’s what we saw with the Dobbs leak, where in my book I showed the liberal justices actually delayed their dissent in the Dobbs decision after the leak intentionally, even though their colleagues were facing death threats, and we even had an assassination threat at Kavanaugh, and it’s what you see with the most recent leak from the New York Times — the liberal justices are not happy with what they are getting, they are not winning on the strength of their arguments, so you are seeing more and more of these politicized leaks.”
