President Trump makes clear that, despite a temporary increase in gas prices, the US economy is strong: “We are really doing well. Now, gasoline’s high, other prices are way down, but gasoline’s high. But when this is over, you’ll have a world without a nuclear weapon with Iran… As soon as the war ends, the gasoline prices will come down.”

TRUMP: “The blockade has been unbelievable, powerful, a 100%... We’re negotiating with [Iran]. Their teams are unbelievably disjointed, but we’re negotiating.”

TRUMP: “Well, I’m not happy with Italy, and I’m not happy with Spain. They feel it’s okay for Iran to have a nuclear weapon. Anybody that feels it’s okay for Iran to have a nuclear weapon is not very smart, and it will be a terrible thing in the future.”

President Trump on a possible deal with Iran: “There’s tremendous discord; they’re having a tremendous problem getting along with each other in Iran. The leadership is very disjointed… And with that being said, they all want to make a deal, but they’re all messed up.”
