Many of my family members played their part in the struggle for #Somaliland's Freedom ; whether through financing or fighting as freedom fighters. Yet, countless women remained unseen.
Our mothers stood shoulder to shoulder with men on the frontlines, or quietly protected our communities; showing a strength that history has yet to fully acknowledge.

1. First of all, do you recognize that Somaliland became an independent country on 26 June 1960?
2. If the answer is (YES), is there any evidence that a legal union existed between the State of Somaliland and the UN Trust Territory of Somalia that could have created a third state, the Somali Republic?
3. Is there an internationally binding treaty or Act of Union that was registered with the United Nations under Article 102?
4. Can you tell us the legal name under which Somalia became a member of the United Nations on 20 September 1960?
5. Is there an internationally binding treaty that transferred Somaliland’s independence to another country?
So, if you are ready to defend your point of view, you should answer these five questions and provide evidence in a concise and direct manner.
