What if your balcony could show you another environment instead of the standard street in front of you? This is what I did with my latest mixed reality test in Unity... This demo was custom-prepared for my house because I wanted to explore the concept this weekend. Of course, since this is a prototype, my brain was able to understand that the blend between the two realities was not perfect. But I have to say that the result was pretty cool to experience anyway... Thanks to @MagicRoomApp I can now visualize my space the way my headset does (and use it for effective night vision!) Definitely worth the money imo.

January 2017, Oculus DK2 + 2x Webcams + Mac OSX + WebVR. About the worst stack imaginable for latency or anything serious, but it was working and enough to convince myself it will be part of the future.
