However, if I haven't heard from them in a week, it may be worth considering their well-being. A week is a significant amount of time to go without communication. I'll listen to their reasons but only for that, and I dont think to continue this kind of relationship.

I would understand they condition if they explained the situation they were going through. While allowing for alone time is necessary, communication is also important. Determining if someone wants to be alone can be difficult without clear signals.

I agree that everyone's healing process is unique and may take different amounts of time. It's important to acknowledge that your emotions are valid, It's okay to feel (not) sad after a breakup and you shouldn't be ashamed of your emotions. It's good for you.
