@SOC54 @TrevDon I’m sorry to hear that. My wife lost her father tragically at 10 years old. Years later she lost her mother. I know, I really know, I am lucky to have both my parents. Also, I know that even though my youngest is 23 years old, being a Mom is my most important job.

Tell me you grew up poor, without telling me you grew up poor. I'll go first. We used plain bread as hot dog buns and for dessert... margarine & cinnamon on bread. 😋

@elena_SF_CA @TrevDon Lost mine when I was 11 and he entered VA hospital when I was 9 and was there until his passing. I only have three memories of him and one of those was at his funeral.

@TrevDon No snacks, no fast food, cream cheese sandwiches, mushroom soup poured over toast, clothes from Salvation Army or Goodwill. But mostly I remember wearing my sister’s hand-me-down jeans, covered in fabric patches & with fabric added to the bottom. #1970s

A3: I would love to see these funds go to staffing. If we could have more push in support for teachers then we could help more students in a small group or individual setting. With 26 Ss in my class it’s difficult to reach them all when they have various needs. #resiliencechat
