Greenland can't afford to be independent, and it can't continue to be under Denmark's rule. The best choice for everyone is for Greenland to join the US as a territory. They would receive large amounts of economic investment and more autonomy than they would under Denmark, and we would gain a massive stronghold in Europe and the Arctic.
