Estep set the tone at the top of the Pirates’ lineup all season, leading them to the program’s 4th state title in the past 5 seasons. 🏴‍☠️ While in Akron in the team’s state semifinal and state final, the future Maryland Terrapin was 3-for-5 with a home run, four runs scored and five RBIs. 👀

Congratulations to @ND_LadyTitans’ @RushAva9, who is our Softball co-Player of the Year, presented by glockner.com. Rush lived up to her reputation all year long, leading her Titans to a 28-4 finish alongside the program’s 2nd consecutive state 👑 Her complete game, two-hit shutout in the Division VII State Championship included nine strikeouts as she continued to add to her legend 🔥

Congratulations to @AdenaAthletic's Joey Francis, who is our Boys Track & Field Athlete of the Year, presented by Rathkamp Financial. Francis showed his versatility every step of the way. 🐇 Alongside a plethora of meet medalist honors, the senior won the Division IV state long jump title with a mark of 22-foot-3.25 and took third in the 400-meter dash, finishing in 48.71 seconds.

Congratulations to @ACSD_Athletics Sophia Szolosi, who is our Girls Track & Field Athlete of the Year, presented by Hanes Total Healthcare Center. Szolosi was once again dominant this past spring. 💪 The senior became the second girl in OHSAA history to win the distance triple crown, winning state titles in the 3200 run (10:17.47), 1600 run (4:48.45) and 800 run (2:08.82). 🏆
