A great example is the old game "Teaching Feelings."
The original game centered around a child slave, with players abusing her. However, fans heavily demanded a wholesome route where the player acts as a savior or father figure instead.
The developers added it, and ironically, the game became far more popular precisely because of this wholesome patch.
Btw, stay away of this game if you can't handle super heavy topics, from what I heard, and of course +18 (unless u use the mod/patch I guess? lol)

I think the whole Yamantau part is an awesome plot twist, but the cannibals could have been flashed out better. It would have been much cooler if they had a proper functioning society based on eating human flesh and some related fuckery.
Still, way cooler than more Nazis, like in every game in the last 5 years.
