Define a signal, test whether it's predictive for what you want it to capture, and if it is, accept the weight of the risk that comes with trading it. No tricks, no layering on filters to make the equity curve look smoother in a backtest, no pretending you can isolate the good trades from the bad ones. You can't scam the market out of giving you return without taking risk. The people who struggle are the ones treating risk as a bug to be fixed rather than the price of admission. They keep adding complexity trying to get the return without the pain, and they end up either curve-fitting or shifting the risk somewhere they can't see it until it blows up. You're getting paid to be uncomfortable. That's the deal, right? You better get comfy with being uncomfy.

Most of what Technical Analysis offers you ultimately boils down to one of two bets: either price will keep going (trend following) or price will come back (mean reversion). That’s it. Once you understand that, you stop collecting indicators and start asking better questions. You’ll understand more about trading than most people who’ve spent years studying candlestick formations without any rationale behind it.

This shows the mental gymnastics I keep referring to. First it was "If everyone believes in the four year cycle then it won't happen." Then BTC still topped in Q4 2025 anyways. Then, in January when BTC was $98k, it was "Oh since everyone thinks the midterm year will be bad, then it will be good." Then BTC still dropped into Feb anyways. Now it's "Next leg down cannot happen since everyone is expecting it"

Very sorry to read this. Such a shame Unfortunately there are more broken and hurt people out there leaning into their worst tendencies by the day It's incredibly admirable how you share so freely and have for so long too. Just to be clear: - you threaten me or my family and i find out who you are, i will come after you with the full force of the law if possible or if not possible i will use any other way, i got basically unlimited resources so don´t think you can f**k around - you try to track me down, i will block you in any way possible or make it very clear you are making a mistake - you try to trick me in meeting me in person, or try to get personal info through sending messages, immediate block - you insult or post stupid comments on posts, you get blocked immediately as well not easy being a larger crypto-x account, and big respect for all that are still here contributing quality. X/twitter truly is one of the craziest cesspits in this online world, i stay here because i can still help loads of people and i like it, but if this keeps getting worse i will wipe this account, i did my part on here. Staying for now but if i get more threats i am out of here
