Exciting news from our #CePaCT lab #Fiji. The team completed a RITA bioreactor training led by Dr Maurice Wong (9–12 March). This system can multiply plants up to 10× faster than traditional methods, boosting production of #breadfruit, #taro and #banana. Supported by @MFATNZ

Media plays a pivotal role in shaping public perceptions and influencing social norms. The first session in the Building Gender Inclusive Narratives in Pacific Media Training Series focussed on the practical application of gender-sensitive approaches in media content. @ForumSEC

🌊 This year’s #SCE Education Week activities in the Marshall Islands were inspired by the theme Wōden Kaṅōl, symbolising our corals attracting diverse marine life. Students engaged in hands-on activities that highlighted both creativity & critical thinking.

Yesterday, Day 2 of the PEUMP II Inception Meeting focused on aligning Year 1 work plans & strengthening implementation. At the SPC, the @europeanunion, @TunaFFA, @PacOceanComm & @UniSouthPacific advanced the roadmap for coordinated ocean governance across the Pacific.

Towards a more resilient teaching & learning environment in the region, SPC held a leadership standards training event for school leaders in Nauru, incorporating Pacific leadership values & beliefs. It was also opportunity to co-review the School Leaders’ Competency Framework.
