Our summer holidays started today! Mr Ainsworth would like to thank everyone at SPH (Staff, governors, pupils and parents) for all of their support over the past few years. He is now moving on to a new school (closer to home) and wants to wish everyone at SPH good luck!

40 of our SPH girls went over to the Glossop North End Cemetery road facility to participate in the Lionesses Big Football Day. ⚽️☀️ Year 7 and 8 participated in a football tournament v Glossopdale and New Mills Year 9 and 10 participated in Leadership and Coaching workshops

A stunning day for a final earlier this week! ☀️⚽️ Year 10 Derbyshire High Peak Schools Football Final day v Buxton Community School at the Tarmac Silverlands Stadium. A fantastic cup campaign from these SPH students, unfortunately wasn't to be our day #TeamSPH

Emily also did well with the bat, steadying the ship and hitting a respectable 20 not out to get Derbyshire over the line and secure a victory against Leicestershire 👏

Fantastic news! Our pupils Ella and Emily represented Derbyshire Cricket last Thursday against Leicestershire.  The SPH girls had a good game representing Derbyshire. Emily took 2 wickets for 33 runs and Ella took 4 wickets for 1 runs #TeamSPH #TogetherOnTheSuccessJourney

Year 10 Football Result ⚽️ SPH 5 - 3 Chapel High School Well done to our Year 10 Football team who beat Chapel today in the Semi final of the Derbyshire High Peak League Cup. MOTM: Max H - for playing an excellent box to box role at Right back and scoring 2 emphatic goals
