The first System Operations Conference of the year wrapped up this week at SPP's headquarters in Little Rock. Led by SPP’s Stakeholder Training team, the SOC brought together system operations professionals for valuable, hands-on learning on current and relevant industry topics.

At midnight CT this morning, SPP’s RTO footprint grew by 175,000 square miles with the successful go-live of our Western expansion. We’re proud to welcome an additional 2 million people, 13 transmission miles, and 150+ generating resources across seven Western states.
