Some personal news: For those who aren't aware, this will be my final week as the Sports Editor for The Sentinel-News. Thanks to everyone in Shelby County for making my (nearly) three years at this position fly by, and I hope you'll do the same for whoever takes this post next.

FINAL: Moore - 38 Collins - 33 Titans fall to 0-2 with loss, and will welcome Ballard to Shelbyville next Friday for its home-opener.

Collins appears to recover a fumble and return it for a touchdown, but the Mustangs’ running back is ruled down with 1:41 left to play.

Mustangs take over on its own 15 with 2:30 left to go. Collins needs a turnover for a chance to stay in this one.

A.J. Bradford scores on a 5 yard TD run and the Titans trail Moore 38-33 with 2:34 left in regulation.

After a botched punt attempt by Moore, Jacoby Evans cashes in with a 1 yard TD run. Collins trails Moore 38-27 after a two-point conversion. 17 ticks left in 3rd.

Moore rips off a 37 yard rushing touchdown and leads Collins 38-19 with 8:20 remaining in 3Q.

Moore answers right back before the half, tossing a long 55 yard score and extending the Mustangs’ lead to 30-19 with 15 seconds left in the second quarter.

A.J. Bradford returns the ensuing kickoff for a score in retaliation and Collins is once again within striking distance of Moore, 24-18. 51 seconds left before half.
