We've got children and grandchildren to raise, Matt. Elderly parents to care for. We've got bills to pay. And the transmission just went out on my wife's 13 year old car, and the faucet is leaking in the bathroom. The Myles Garrett contract “modification” doesn’t make sense UNLESS they’re planning to shop him to the highest bidder.
There are 5 or 6 teams that would be obvious suitors.
But perhaps only 1 or 2 that could rival a package the Cowboys could put together. NONE if we’re talking 2026 draft compensation alone.
So what should Dallas offer….?

@rjochoa I truly don't think anything that's happened to this point is the Cowboys' fault. GP didn't want a deal last year, & he hadn't earned top of the market.
what I want to see now is, can you face facts that the new price is ~$40m. because you either need to pay or trade him pronto

The Eagles traded for AJ Brown and gave him a brand new deal before he ever played a snap for them. This was always the reference point in discussing Pickens.
Look at the Packers and Micah. Nothing is ever apples to apples, but acting like this never happens in the NFL is silly.
