The #49ers have enough cap space to sign a proven vet if they wanted & keep a really good high cushion of rollover for next year’s cap space which will allow us to get more free agents in 2027. Some said it was a near rebuild this season but we are sitting pretty for 2027.

Thought of a 24-team Playoff format that actually solves basically everything: • Top 4 teams face off head to head • The winners play in a “National Championship” • The other 20 teams are paired up in a meaningful neutral site game to celebrate a great season
