Grant Morrison responds to Damon Lindelof calling the "Green" in Green Lantern "stupid": "Why does a writer attach himself to this kind of narrative if he thinks it’s fundamentally ‘stupid’? The only people who give a f*ck about the Lanterns TV series are Green Lantern fans. Why alienate them at the start? That feels more like ‘stupid’.

Hoy me desperté cruzado...

@commiegothic @sandwicchhh I mean, i don't even think Superman is high art or anything but if they like the movie for it's anti-genocide message then that would mean they were already anti-genocide before watching the movie

@dothejackal @stormdoves Except that i never said that she wasn't important, she obviously is lmao, otherwise she wouldn't have 25 chapters across the series. All i said is that some people try to make her look more important than she actually is using irrelevant "facts" about her

@SRAG015 @stormdoves No, I replied to you. You are the one who said that she is not important to the story. Objectively false.

i think it’s funny that people refuse the concept of sansa being the first child born out of love when we know robb was born in riverrun out of duty and nedcat didn’t grow closer until they were back in winterfell

@dothejackal @stormdoves Nothing, but you are replying to a tweet talking about Sansa being the first Stark kid born out of love as if that means anything at all to her character or her role in the story

@SRAG015 @stormdoves Why are you being so agro in all of your responses here. Were talking about characters in a book, and both Ned and Cat think about their relationship enough that we can make judgements like this.

@catconnoisseu I don't mind her being a black woman in adaptations or alternate universes, but I have a genuine question: How would she even permanently become afrolatina in main continuity? She's white and has always been white. Would she just start doing blackface or something like that?

🐈‍⬛ As much as I adore Selina Kyle being portrayed as a black woman, there’s a serious discussion to be had about the over sexualization of black women in comics and how Catwoman would play into that if she became permanently afrolatina. Not just as a former SW, but also the—
