Science Club: The Great Food Test Challenge!

It's official: stomp rockets are one of students' favourites in our science club!The pure joy on their faces was matched only by their enthusiasm for naming the rockets in three different languages – a truly inclusive and fun experience for everyone.

Building an electric motor is famously fidgety and meticulous, a truly tough feat. But for our science club members, that challenge was just a call to action! And today? It was an absolute triumph!

Immensely proud of our 13 students who completed their Bronze Crest Awards! After 10+ hours of diligent work, including 6 lemonade recipes and detailed journaling, they truly earned their certificates!

Our chicken wing dissection was a huge success! The science club members were thrilled to discover all the intricate structures, from ligaments to tendons, making for a truly hands-on learning experience.

Science live 2025 6. Professor Andrea Sella delivered a captivating presentation that beautifully illustrated the interconnectedness of physics, chemistry, and biology. Students were enthralled by the engaging live experiments conducted on stage.

Science live 2025 2. Professor Sophie Scott, a renowned cognitive neuroscientist, delivered an insightful talk on laughter. A key takeaway was the striking difference between human laughter and its counterparts in the animal kingdom.

Science live 2025 3. Stewart Chenery conducted a valuable session on effective exam techniques and strategies. We were heartened to observe that our students enthusiastically discussed and absorbed many of his insights during their journey back to school.
