The work continues. This campaign is coming to an end, but our commitment to Women in Recovery is just beginning. We will continue to champion women-only spaces, challenge stigma & advocate for justice reform. Thank you for being part of the conversation. #WomenInRecovery #Legacy

From conversation to analysis. We are collating insights from our year-long listening exercise. This data will be used to produce a report detailing the specific barriers women face. We are creating a resource to shape service design & support decision-making. #WomenInRecovery

We listened. Here is what we heard. A "one size fits all" system is failing women. From justice to health, women face distinct structural barriers that require distinct solutions. Your voice is the evidence base for change. #WomenInRecovery #LivedExperience

From conversation to action. This week, we presented our findings on Women, Harm, and Recovery to policymakers & partners. The message was clear: A "one-size-fits-all" approach is not enough. We need a recovery landscape designed with women in mind. #WomenInRecovery #Action

Neurodiversity & gambling harm are often "invisible" issues for women. Many women use substances to cope with undiagnosed ADHD/Autism. Gambling harm is often hidden by stigma. We must look beyond the obvious to support women effectively. #WomenInRecovery #EndStigma

Happy International Women's Day! 💜✨ Today we celebrate the strength & resilience of every woman in recovery in Scotland. To every woman who shared her story: Thank you. We see you. We hear you. We are committed to acting on what you told us #IWD2026 #WomenInRecovery #GiveToGain

Supporting the mother protects the child. The fear of separation from children is a huge barrier preventing women from seeking help. Trauma from losing a child often drives a cycle of despair. We need support systems that offer hope & dignity. #WomenInRecovery #Family #EndStigma

It’s not just "in your head." Symptoms of perimenopause & menopause—anxiety, sleep loss, brain fog—can be significant drivers for substance use or relapse. We need to stop women slipping through the cracks of the healthcare system. #WomenInRecovery #WomensHealth

Today we launch our Cross-Party Manifesto for a Recovery-Oriented Scotland (2026-2031). Built on 2 years of listening to lived experience, we outline a compassionate, human-rights based approach to reducing drug & alcohol harm. Read it here: ow.ly/beZ350YorGL

Gender responsive justice system ⛓️💜 For women in justice, transition to the community is critical. Without gender-specific support—like safe housing—recovery capital is often eroded rather than built. We need a system that recognises the unique needs of women. #WomenInRecovery

Proud to stand with organisations across the UK to defend universal human rights. 🌍 As discussions at the Council of Europe explore limiting the ECHR, our message is clear: human rights protect us all. They are essential for dignity & recovery. Watch: youtube.com/watch?v=zEpUs1…

"Meaningful change must be designed by women, for women." This is our guiding principle. We haven't just looked at stats—we have listened to what women & services working with women told us. Honest conversations are helping us identify barriers. #WomenInRecovery #LivedExperience
