HND Agriculture students from SRUC Oatridge took a trip to Learielaw Farm as part of their Crop Production management module. They were given a tour by the farm owner, David Dandie, and learnt about diversification and technology in a modern farming system.
Alix, Managing Director and CEO of FarmStrong Scotland came to teach us about personal resilience and how to maintain a healthy mind. Students were encouraged to take stock in their own wellness in prep for maintaining a more sustainable business and reducing on-farm accidents.
