🚩New Red Flag Warnings in Effect🚩
Drought conditions, low humidity, and winds have led @NWS to issue Red Flag Warnings for most inland regions in northeast, central & southwest Florida. Officials do not recommend any outdoor burning. 38 Florida counties have current burn bans

At today's Governing Board meeting, a Modified Phase II Water Shortage Order was issued, which includes additional regulatory measures. This will go into effect on April 22.

The District is now accepting applications for conservation land acquisition projects for the upcoming 2026-2027 funding cycle. The deadline for applications is 5 p.m. May 8.
