Though Water Conservation Month ends today, the District remains in a Phase II Water Shortage. Predicted rainfall this weekend will be beneficial, but will not be nearly enough to end the drought. We will need more consistent rainfall due alleviate those conditions.

Did You Know? If you turn off the water while brushing your teeth, you could save up to four gallons of water per session! You may not think that sounds like a lot of water, or may not think that one person can make a difference when it comes to water conservation.

As a reminder, a Phase II Water Shortage is still in effect across our District. While some areas of Florida saw significant rainfall this week, we did not, and the upcoming week's forecast shows warming temperatures and little to no rain.

This stunning photo on the Suwannee River, showing the old train trestle bridge near Old Town, was taken by Joyce Haas and included in our District calendar for the month of April! We are truly appreciative that she allowed us to use this photo and thank her for it.
