Simply; Japan is threatening the Mikaboshi life once again. Despite their "vanishing", their culture is still seen to be used and weaponized. When peace doesn't work—all that's left is conflict. They seek to kill each other to exist; because they're alike.

Even if they're unaware of the fact, the Soga Clan being in power is a mockery of the Mikaboshi. It's a perpetuation of the cycle that stranded them, and the cycle has spun once more for that cycle to take until there's nothing left.

#kagurabachi119 One thing I'm feeling people are neglecting is that the Mikaboshi were hoping for PEACE after they were exiled the first time—but the Soga Clan continued their conflict and led to their close extinction.
