@amanda03462 @Eiichiro_Staff Yeah, I think you’re right. For Usopp, it might not be about a physical power-up, but more about realizing through conversations that he’s already gained the “bravery” he’s been searching for. In that sense, he already gave a pretty brave speech to Imu.

@SReminal @Eiichiro_Staff Usopp getting ragnir never made sense to me for 2 big reasons. 1) He physically is incapable of lifting Ragnir, 2) Oda literally has stated that usopp will forever be the weakest crew member so he literally can’t use Ragnir as that would put him on the same level as Zoro/sanji.

@fac_eas @Eiichiro_Staff I don’t think that pattern is a requirement. Not every character-focused arc follows the same structure. I’ve always said each East Blue five gets a spotlight arc in the New World, not an arc entirely about them. Just one that explores their roots or gives them a major power-up.

To non-fans, it’s probably hard to imagine that a character like Bon-chan, with such a silly design, is actually drawn with that much care and detail. But that’s exactly what makes ONE PIECE so special, there are so many characters like that. #ONEPIECE
