I decided to use the incredible footage by @seedofmight to re-create the old Funimation intro entirely from scratch. It's the highest quality version of DBZ yet, so I thought I'd share it with everyone.

@EmperorBigD Think I already said this on your YouTube post but even if Hoi came to Earth, Piccolo is still dead so there are no Dragon Balls to open the box with. Even if somehow they manage to open it, there's no way any of them would be able to defeat Hirudegarn anyway.

The editing for this ending confused kids and exposed their lack of critical thinking by saying "Oh! Future Trunks got his sword from Tapion" when that's virtually impossible. Still a good movie tho.

@Senpai75 @artGuy1954 @seedofmight Yeah that's actually a good idea. That's how I watched Z with my Blu Rays. Ripped 10 - 15 episodes at a time and then deleted them right after.

@SSJaseDB @seedofmight Did you use Timecode in ProTools or in Ableton you could have taken the scene right into a Project file and then stemmed the audio.

@WinWinLos @AnimeAjay Honestly, this isn't too bad. I can see how it would come across as kind of belittling but I kind of agree. You can watch it any way you want to, so long as you understand the story and can point out obvious flaws in the old dub. Just don't be delusional and everything is OK.

I think Takahashi is proof that there has been some modern DB stuff that is still incredibly raw and not necessarily kid friendly

@otto_roswaal @seedofmight Well I haven't started it yet, these are just clips I made by themselves. When I do though, it will just be the Frieza saga using this footage, but I will be replacing Sean's old voice acting performance with the Kai one. Same goes for Chris Ayres' Frieza.

I finally recreated Goku's vision of Vegeta from DBZ Kai using the @seedofmight Dragon box footage with the US score. It's one of my favourite scenes from Kai and I'm glad it turned out so well.

He said that the voice actors would agree with him that their old performances were better, when they are on record saying the complete opposite. I was going to show him MY sources, but he ended up blocking me. These people are impossible.
