Good for Colorado and good for Burnzie. If he takes solid 3rd D line minutes it will be an incredible pickup for the Avs. Plus where else in America would the most woodsman/outdoor type want to be? He will LOVE Colorado.

@SSN_Canes Suter isn’t anything more than a 1 year overachieving 4C. At best he is signed to play 3c. No need to add him. Kk is an equal option at 2c

One would assume the Canes are all in on Ehlers, and willing to overpay to lock him in. And then after that, you figure out 2c. Pius Suter? He’s probably the best available or can they work a trade out? Will KK get dealt and for who? I like: Kadri or Trochek #RaiseUp

@NYRLouie He’s going to be good. Just wasn’t ready this past year. And I think you nailed it in another post, he will have growing pains and there will be moments this year you get furious. He got TORCHED in the limited playoff experience this year. But man in 3-4 years dudes a stud.

Scott Morrow is a young defensive piece who is very talented offensively- his passing ability plus ability to control the puck has led to high production rates every stop so far He even put up 6 points in 14 games in 3rd pair minutes at the end of last season He is only 22 and signed for only $917k this off-season(he’s a RFA next summer). This is the best u25 defensive piece Rangers roster… by FARRE In the AHL - he played a first pair role and played hugeee minute. I see Scott Morrow as a RHD1 in his career with 50 point potential - at least #NYR

To an already good defensive core. And now it’s pretty much set in stone with Mike Reilly as a 7. This is a MASSIVE upgrade defensively from where the Canes ended the season. I hope Burns and Orlov land somewhere and get good contracts but I love how this D Line looks now.

I was very curious to see how the Canes would look to replace Orlov and Burns. We knew Nikishin. But K’Andre Miller came as a pleasant surprise. Sure he isn’t perfect and yes he has some liabilities. But I remember Rangers fans talking for a while about the combo of him and Fox.

Knowing the Canes and the players they eventually trade away, it will be tough to watch Morrow win the Norris in a Rangers jersey in 2032.

Hearing this will be a sign & trade between the Rangers and the Hurricanes. Miller contract will come in at 8 years, $60M

Sounds like K’Andre Miller will be a hurricane. Because he’s an RFA they got a few details to hammer out… no word on the return. Writing was on the wall after NYR picked up Gavrikov.
