Booked a 2% loss in a 4% PS ( testing position size ) today in SHANTIGOLD. Reason for attempting - Great results. Clean flat IPO Base + Started right near the pivot not so far away. Pushed higher but came crashing down in just a few minutes. Market is having moves but tougher to capture given the low probabilities, but definitely time to test names as the environment can improve really quick.

I started my journey in the stock market around 2009-10, not by choice, but by circumstance. After graduation, I struggled to find a job. I even worked at a saree shop for some time. Eventually, I got a job at Motilal Oswal as a Sales Manager but in reality, it was a pure sales job, and I had zero knowledge of the stock market. At that time, I didn’t even know how brokerage is calculated. But I was lucky @abhijitsalvi sir, my boss, guided me patiently in those early days. Then came 2011, and with it, a 25–26% market fall. As a below-average salesman who couldn’t miss-sell, I lost my job. With no option left, I started my sub-broking business the same year. In those early days, I was the telecaller, the dealer, the back office, the sales guy, and even the office boy. Everything. But reality hit hard In the broking business, you earn only when clients trade. And in a bear market, most clients were losing money and my income stopped for months. That’s when I decided: If I want to survive, I have to understand how this market works. Between 2014 to 2015, I seriously started learning. Back then, learning resources were limited, I had no background, no network, and even internet felt like a luxury. I learned whatever I could books, blogs, random videos. Tried indicators. Sometimes they worked, many times they didn’t. This phase went on till 2017. Then one day, I went to a market event with my friend Savio and that one day changed everything. There, I discovered the power of price & volume action and long-term chart analysis. It clicked. I finally found something that made real sense to me. From 2017 till now I’ve just been refining that one method. Not changing strategy every month, just improving the same process. From that 8500/month salary in 2009 to now living good. from being an intraday trader to now becoming an active investor with a mature mindset. This 16-year journey taught me not just about markets, but about discipline, patience, resilience, and the importance of never giving up. Still learning. Still a student. Picture abhi baaki hai dost. People don't understand what a VCP is People think drawing 3 cups anywhere is called VCP pattern. They fail to understand a strong prior uptrend is very necessary to call it VCP. Few people draw VCP in stocks that are in downtrend which wont work as per the concept !
