Professor Anne-Marie Hakstian recently co-authored a paper titled Racial diversity and group decision-making in a mock jury experiment. Her co-authors included Sophia Evett, James Hoffmann, Jane Marshall, Emory Boyland, Jerome Williams.

Bertolon School of Business Supports North Shore Latino Business Association. BSB faculty and staff recently attended the North Shore Latino Business Association’s Annual Gala at the Danversport Event Center.

On November 4th, Professor Hakstian’ s Employment Law class visited the historic John Adams Courthouse in Boston to listen to oral arguments before the Massachusetts Supreme Judicial Court and met with Justice Massing to talk about the role of the appeals courts.

Professor Zlatinka N Blaber is collaborating with Dr. Yuki Sasaki from Saga University in Japan on a collaborative online international learning (COIL). They had an introduction zoom meeting with Acc 202-02 and students from the Western Cultures class from Saga University.

Thanks to the generosity of North Shore Chamber of Commerce members six Bertolon students had the opportunity to attend a Thrive luncheon northshorechamber.org/thrive-main.ht… at Spinellis restaurant in Lynnfield. The guest speaker was Natalie Jacobson, a well-respected Boston TV anchor woman.

87 first year students attended Bertolon’s Meet Your Major event. Dean Raminder Luther welcomed the students. Professors Leah Ritchie, Sanjay Jain, and Mayuresh Kelkar shared information about the business concentrations and many paths to success offered by the Bertolon School.
