With volatility increasing and fewer stocks following through from breakout levels, market risk is rising. Recent price swings have been largely news-driven, creating unpredictable short-term moves. More importantly, participation continues to narrow, with leadership concentrated in fewer names—often a sign of a tiring market. Under these conditions, caution is advised: focus on risk management, avoid chasing extended stocks, and be selective with new exposure. We are not out of the woods. Today, I lost my best friend and wife, Roxanne Benton . I love her with every ounce of my being and she passed away next to me holding her hand. She passed peacefully and quietly, which is how I knew she would. She was an incredible mother, wife and friend. She was the most generous, sweet hearted person I know and she made me a better person and husband and I am forever changed by being with her for 17 years. I haven’t shared much on Twitter/X but Roxy was diagnosed with cancer in 2022, only months after we moved to Reno. I did one Facebook post about it but removed it because she wanted privacy through her battle. That’s who she was, a very private person and didn’t want to burden others with her struggles. So it’s also why I didn’t discuss it on social media. She fought HARD for 3 years, through many ups and downs that are even hard to explain in one post. She went through hell on earth, to put it bluntly. I was at every doctor appointment, emergency room visit and hospital stay. And I would do it all again to be there for her. She will be greatly missed but I am grateful to our Lord that she is no longer struggling or in pain. She has been healed… fully. I love you Roxy and we will see you again… ❤️

I don’t see why the market’s pricing in rate cuts—certainly not aggressive easing. Unemployment claims, housing, GDP, and consumer spending = pointing toward inflation, not recession.
