It’s been an exciting two months between receiving a doctoral award from @CIHR_IRSC, defending my thesis protocol, getting an oral presentation at @IntPharmacoEpi 2023, and publishing a new manuscript. So grateful for all my collaborators, and looking forward to the work to come!

Circumcision may be a viable preventive strategy for HPV infections, especially in regions with a high burden of HPV-associated cancers and where the HPV vaccine is not commercially available or has low uptake. (8/8)

Future studies on the topic should be aware of the impact of sampling site on accurate infection detection in males. More studies of HPV infection risk among the female sexual partners of circumcised vs. uncircumcised males are warranted. (7/)
