I was told twice today that my son should just snap out of it and stop wasting his life. He is ill. People still don’t get mental health conditions. You wouldn’t tell someone with a broken leg to run a marathon. His ocd is controlling him. What is so difficult to understand ffs!?

I’m taking on a new role from tomorrow as Trust Data Manager for Wellspring Academy Trust. This will be my 5th position in 20 years of working in education. I’m excited for the new challenges ahead including working across schools and broadening into primary and special sectors.
