Photograph: Lieutenant Tohei Shiraishi The final photograph of the Musashi's bow sinking was taken by Lieutenant Tohei Shiraishi, a member of the 70th class of the Naval Academy, who was the torpedo officer of the destroyer Isokaze. He was said to be a unique man.
