April is #ABLEtoSaveMonth, a time to highlight the empowerment, independence, and security that comes with having an ABLE account. #STABLEAccount helps people living with disabilities save and invest their money without losing access to crucial benefits.

Last week, I dropped in on the @STABLEAccount Advisory Board meeting to hear the most recent updates. It’s amazing to see how much the program has grown in the ten years since its launch. I look forward to seeing how it continues to grow.

Today, our team attended Developmental Disabilities Awareness and Advocacy Day. The theme this year was The Power of Support, and we were able to share the many ways #STABLEAccount can help support individuals living with a disability on their road to a better financial future.

March is National Developmental Disabilities Awareness Month! #STABLEAccount is proud to help individuals living with disabilities lead independent, fulfilling lives by empowering them to save and invest without losing important benefits.

As of January 1, 2026, the federal ABLE Age Adjustment Act has extended eligibility for ABLE accounts by raising the age of disability onset from 26 to 46. This will allow many more individuals to save and invest without losing their benefits. Read more: tos.ohio.gov/newsroom/artic…

Last week, our STABLE team had the opportunity to share program updates in the Special Needs and Elder Law Planning course hosted by @OSBA. We’re grateful for these partnerships with legal professionals and the educational and advocacy opportunities that they provide.
