We analyzed 62 Billion+ views from 2025 to find out what makes a video go viral on YouTube. Title length, thumbnail colors, niches, video duration, we cover everything. Here’s what we found👇🧵

I've generated over 50M views on YouTube. Here are the 5 fastest ways to level-up your YouTube channel (right now) 🧵 👇 1) Outlier-validate every idea. Everyone “trusts their gut.” Almost no one checks the data. Go to 1of10 → filter for 2x+ outliers, last 6 months, 50k+ views. Find 4–8 videos proving your concept overperformed somewhere else (recently) If you can't? Your idea probably isn't as “viral” as you think. 2) AB test like a psycho. Test your best title + 3 totally different thumbnail concepts. Always. Swap the thumbnail the moment one wins by 7%+ watchtime. Then test variations on that winner. If a video flatlines? Completely change the title + thumb and try again. Some of my “dead” videos revived weeks later off one thumbnail swap. 3) Clip your long-form like it’s your job. Write your videos in chapters → each chapter gets a mini-hook. Each mini-hook becomes a short. If you post 1 long-form/week, you should be getting 7–8 shorts from it. That’s a short a day. Zero extra effort. Just more surface area for the algorithm to find you. Every top channel does long-form and shorts. It’s free momentum. 4) Obsess over your hook. The biggest retention drop-off? The first 3 seconds. Your opening line should basically restate the title. Make viewers instantly know: “Yep, I clicked the right thing.” Clarity > cleverness. 5) Never. Miss. A. Day. Not just because the algo will reward you… …but because consistency is the only way you stack reps. Shorts daily? Never skip. Long-form weekly? Same time, every week. Creators don’t lose momentum because they’re bad. They lose momentum because they disappear. Overall, YouTube is easier when you stop guessing and start testing. Follow for more creator growth insights :)

How to create a 1 month of YouTube content in 1 day. This took me from 0 → 1,000 subs in under 30 days. Here’s the exact system I use (bookmark this) 👇 2/ The goal: 4 long-form videos + 32 shorts = one month of uploads, done in a single work session. 3/ Step 1: Collect viral ideas Find 10–15 channels doing the content you want to make. Create a burner account. Watch 4–5 videos from each. Now, your homepage is full of competitor videos to take inspiration from. 4/ Step 1.5: Validate outliers Look for videos that 2-10x the channel’s average views. I use the 1of10 extension to identify these. Those are your “already proven” viral ideas. Find 4–8 outliers around the same topic = idea secured. 5/ Step 2: Titles & thumbnails FIRST Before scripting, before recording, before anything: • 3–10 title variations • 3 thumbnail concepts • 2–3 variations each → ~9 thumbnails per video You build your video around what gets clicked. 6/ Step 3: Brain-dump → Script outline Open voice memos. Dump everything you know about the topic. Zero structure. Feed that + your titles + a 1–2 sentence concept summary into ChatGPT. Tell it to: • Turn it into an outline (not a script) For each section/chapter/part: • Add a long-form hook (to introduce the section) • Add a short-form hook for each section Every section = one future Short. 7/ Step 4: Record fast Glance at your next bullet. Look up. Deliver. Don’t overthink it. Batch all 4 videos in one session. This is where the time savings come from. 8/ Step 5: Turn longform into shorts Import your footage. Do a rough cut. Then isolate each chapter. Trim to <60s. Remove the long-form hook. Keep the short-form hook. You should get 7–8 Shorts per long-form video → ~30 Shorts total. 9/ Step 6: Edit simple Not cinematic. Not hyper-produced. Just: • Clean pacing • Clear visuals • Strong opening 3 seconds • Audio that doesn’t hurt my ears Audio quality matters the most. Simple scales. Fancy burns you out. 10/ Step 7: Post with a system • 1 long per week • 1 Short per day Shorts pull new people in. Longform converts them into subscribers. 11/ Step 8: Post-publish optimization 3-way thumbnail tests. Check every 6–12 hours. Swap in the winner (7%+ CTR difference). If thumbnails are tapped out, test titles. A “dead” video can come back to life with better packaging. 12/ If you follow this system for 30 days, you will: • Learn your niche • Publish better videos • Stop uploading randomly • Get your first 1,000 subscribers One day of work → one month of content. That’s how you build momentum. Follow for more :)

timelapse #119 (15 hrs): - been trying out the 4am wake up and 8pm sleep schedule and its pretty good for getting ahead in the day. feels like less pressure is on me - upgraded my cpu and ram to ryzen 9 9950x3d + 96gb ddr5 - speedrunning contract work - planning out the entire software and hardware stack for what a space datacenter might look like and how its manufactured - built an MCP server called "thinkingcap" which ill be pushing out for you all today - getting used to opus 4.5 and gemini 3 pro still, although grok 4.1 has been very helpful to me

Why is X pushing the term “West Asia” instead of “Middle East”? Yeah, it’s technically part of Asia… but the whole world has been calling it the Middle East for decades. What changed?

10 people start video editing, 5 quit, 3 learn but can't get clients, and maybe 1 actually makes it. The difference isn't talent, it's knowing how to be seen. That one person built a presence online; he knows how to be seen.

Definitely audience. It’s the first real step in anything. Once you have people paying attention, you start to understand what to build, how to build it, and even why it matters. Audience is the hardest part… after that, things get way clearer. (That's what I think, I didn't build any product myself )
