“I woke up this morning after my church service.” Peter Obi is the first Nigerian politician in history to attend church service while sleeping and woke up after the service with pains. Pathological……………fill the gap. lol Temu Presidential aspirant.
Peter Obi@PeterObi

Fellow Nigerians, good morning. I woke up this morning after my church service with a deeply reflective heart, and despite every constraint, I felt compelled to share these thoughts with you. Many people do not truly understand the silent pains some of us carry daily—the private struggles, emotional burdens, and quiet battles we face while trying to survive and serve sincerely in difficult circumstances. We now live in an environment that has become increasingly toxic, where the very system that should protect and create opportunities for decent living often works against the people—a society where intimidation, insecurity, endless scrutiny, and discouragement have become normal. More painful is when some of those you associate with, believing you would find understanding and solidarity among them, become part of the pressure you face. Some who publicly identify with you privately distance themselves or join in unfair criticism. We live in a society where humility is mistaken for weakness, respect is seen as a lack of courage, and compassion is treated as foolishness—a system where treating people equally is questioned simply because you refuse to worship status, tribe, class, or power. Personally, I have never looked down on anyone except to uplift them. I have never used privilege, position, or resources to oppress others, intimidate the weak, or make people feel small. To me, leadership has always been about service, sacrifice, and helping others rise. Let me state clearly: my decision to leave the ADC is not because our highly respected Chairman, Senator David Mark, treated me badly, nor because my leader and elder brother, Alhaji Atiku Abubakar, or any other respected leaders did anything personally wrong to me. I will continue to respect them. However, the same Nigerian state and its agents that created unnecessary crises and hostility within the Labour Party that forced me to leave now appear to be finding their way into the ADC, with endless court cases, internal battles, suspicion, and division, instead of focusing on deeper national problems and playing politics built more on control and exclusion than on service and nation-building. Even within spaces where one labours sincerely, one is sometimes treated like an outsider in one’s own home. You and your team become easy targets for every failure, frustration, or misunderstanding, as though honest contribution has become a favour being tolerated rather than appreciated. And when you choose to leave so that those you are leaving can have peace, and you step out into the cold, you are still maligned and your character is questioned. Despite all your efforts to continue working for a better Nigeria and engaging people with sincerity and goodwill, those who do not wish you well continue to attack your character and question your intentions. There are moments I ask God in prayer: Why is doing the right thing often misconstrued as wrongdoing in our country? Why is integrity not valued? Why is the prudent management of resources, especially when invested in critical areas like education and healthcare, wrongly labelled as stinginess? Why are humility and obedience to the rule of law often taken to be weakness rather than discipline? Let me assure all that I am not desperate to be President, Vice President, or Senate President. I am desperate to see a society that can console a mother whose child has been kidnapped or killed while going to school or work. I am desperate to see a Nigeria where people will not live in IDP camps but in their homes. I am desperate for a country where Nigerian citizens do not go to bed hungry, not knowing where their next meal will come from. Yet, despite everything, I remain resolute. I firmly believe that Nigeria can still become a country with competent leadership based on justice, compassion, and equal opportunity for all. A new Nigeria is POssible. -PO

We told you so. The political nomad is on the move again. Ignore all those puerile reasons he gave in these illogical musings, a self-serving letter to his mob. Peter Obi is a politician made of jelly, an opportunistic fellow. He can't fight Atiku or Amaechi for the ticket of ADC. He pursues the easy road, that will only lead him to doom, like in 2023. He always blames the government without doing a soul-searching of himself. Welcome, Peter to the 2027 race.

Last week, @PeterObi was at an “opposition summit” in Ibadan. We said it clearly then these unprincipled drifters and their structure of criminality have nothing to offer besides empty words. But a majority of his brainwashed supporters couldn’t handle the truth. Now @Peterobi the captain of the gravy train has moved yet again, and those who were misled will once more follow the most directionless political opportunist to ever exist in this clime. #AACOurParty

Dear @OlaOlukoyede_, aka Chairman of @officialEFCC, I notice you have been interested lately in students in #Nigerian universities. You're reported to have claimed that over 60% of them are criminals. While we still await the evidence to back up that claim from you, I thought I should let you know about this dude. His name is @OfficialGYBKogi. Remember him? May be I shd refresh your memory just a little. No, dude is not not a student. He ruled Kogi State for 8 years. Many people believe he is still ruling the state. That is also your state, no? So you shd know that he also plundered the state to the tune of multiples of hundreds of billions of dollars possibly. His plunder is present continuous tense. Now he wants to convert it into future interminable tense. When you run the math, all students in Nigeria's universities put together do not control an economy like this kind of guy. But you will avert your gaze from him & prey upon students to deflect from your complicit aversion, and even supine failure. So, Comrade Chairman, let me ask you again: do you know this guy? Under your watch, he will run for @NGRSenate. And you will mount another podium to declaim against Nigerian students, right? Do not say no one told you.

BREAKING: Former Kogi State Governor Yahaya Bello has formally indicated interest in running for the Kogi Central Senatorial seat in 2027. Bello, who will face Senator Natasha Akpoti-Uduaghan of the PDP in the election, received the APC senatorial nomination forms at his Abuja residence from women groups who bought the forms for him and asked him to run.

My opponent is Peter Obi, not the APC or anyone else. We will take him on directly and decisively. However, if God wills it and the North truly and sincerely comes out for their brother and gives him this very beautiful and powerful last chance, Atiku will be the winner of the 2027 general election. No matter how the election goes, Peter Obi will still come 3rd. It’s either Atiku or Tinubu. And one important thing is that Obi and RMK can never get up to the amount of total votes they got individually in 2027. Obi wanted the church to take back their country, and RMK is the originator of sharia law in Nigeria, both of them are like water and oil; they can’t meet, but they have met now simply to stop Atiku. But Atiku will surprise them this time.

The direct primaries and party registration process have actually exposed Peter Obi. It seems the Church is no longer supporting him, and I believe not having him as a running mate will turn out to be a blessing for Atiku. In reality, he is little more than a content creator supported by the Church. Now that the religious card cannot be played in 2027, he will struggle to even win Anambra. We would be better off with Amaechi or Makinde as Atiku's running mate.

The African Democratic Congress (ADC) wishes to state, clearly and unequivocally, that we remain focused on our mission to rescue Nigeria from the failure of the APC-led government and to prevent the dangerous slide toward a one-party state. We have taken note of recent suggestions that the ADC will not produce candidates in the 2027 elections. We find such claims to be entirely unfounded, mischievous, and designed to create confusion where none exists. They have no basis in law, in fact, or in the reality of our preparations as a political party. The ADC will present candidates in the 2027 general elections. Not just candidates, but credible, competent, and nationally acceptable candidates who are capable of leading this country out of its current crisis. We remain a law-abiding political party, fully compliant with the Constitution and the Electoral Act. There is no legal impediment to our participation in the 2027 elections, and any suggestion to the contrary is a deliberate attempt to mislead the public and dampen the growing momentum around our party. The ADC stands today as the primary opposition platform in Nigeria, and we take that responsibility seriously. We are not distracted by noise. We are focused on the real work, organising across the country, mobilising Nigerians who are tired of insecurity, rising costs of living, and limited opportunities, and building the structures required not just to contest, but to win. We urge our members, supporters, and all well-meaning Nigerians to disregard these baseless assertions. The task before us is too important to be derailed by speculation.

Kwankwaso, a two-time governor, former senator, and PhD holder, refused to be your vice-presidential candidate in 2023 when the momentum was at its peak. Instead, he suggested that Peter “Chameleon” Obi should secure the South-East, while he would deliver the North-West through Kano for Tinubu. Now, in 2027, when that momentum has faded, he has accepted to be the running mate of the same person he once declined. To make matters more complex, both the presidential candidate and the vice-presidential candidate are essentially newcomers in the party they intend to run under. Senseless people

I extend my sincere apologies to Atiku Abubakar. After engaging with some of his supporters, it is clear that he has a genuine intention to contribute to Nigeria’s progress. To my fellow Obidients, it is important that we do not allow emotions to override strategic thinking. Politics requires collaboration and coalition-building. Peter Obi, as strong as his candidacy may be, cannot achieve this alone. From a realistic political standpoint, a viable pathway to power may involve alignment. A joint ticket, with Obi as a vice-presidential candidate to Atiku, could present a broader and more competitive front. Atiku Abubakar now has a range of notable OBI's to consider as potential vice-presidential candidates, including Ebuka Obi, Obi Cubana, Joel Obi, and John Mikel Obi. #AtikuObi2027
