Read Aloud sessions aim to help our emergent readers building confidence, fluency, and public speaking skills. For the listeners, this session nurtures active listening, comprehension, and a love for literature, fostering a collaborative learning environment.

Go STEAMspark! 💚⚽ The first soccer games of the season were so much fun! Join us this Saturday, September 21st for our first Toddler Showcase and second round of matches!

Students are introduced to the decimal system with the lesson "Quantity and Symbol" and learn the symbols and structure of the decimal system. This foundational lesson builds their mathematical understanding and prepares them for more complex concepts.

⚽With just one week until the first soccer game of the season, our students are gearing up! This upcoming game will not only be a chance to showcase their skills but also to practice problem-solving, personal development, and sportsmanship.⚽

The Rock Study activity encourages children to engage with the natural world, observing textures and shapes to build focus, and an early love for science. By matching rocks to images, they enhance cognitive skills and fine motor control through hands-on discovery! 🌎✨

Crafted from sandpaper and mounted on vibrant boards, Sandpaper Letters helps students connect the sounds of language to their symbols through touch, sight, and hearing. Students master the shape of every sound, laying the foundation for future handwriting skills.

Telling time is a crucial life skill developed through hands-on instruction at STEAMspark Montessori. In this activity, students engage with advanced time-telling exercises, reading specific times and accurately drawing the clock hands to match.

The very first STEAMspark Spring Recital was an incredible showcase of the hard work these performers have put in every rehearsal! We also had special musical performances by each primary classroom, and several art pieces by every grade level displayed at the show!

Children have a tendency to imitate. They must adapt to this world and be able to do all the things that are done in the environment. They imitate for this reason. ~ Maria Montessori

In the Picture and Story Matching lesson, students match images to corresponding captions, some multi-sentence. Before introducing the images, students learn new sight words. Their task is to match each caption to its image, fostering connection skills.
