Kereri is one of the schools whose students have participated in the UNESCO/GoK STEM Mentorship Programme.

Kereri Girls Secondary School in Kisii will also be marking the day with students presenting scientific exhibitions.

Over 60 women scientists and students will be participating.

The discussions will be “on Gender Equality in science: Myths, Reality and Future Perspectives”

UNESCO and partners will holding a roundtable discussion for women scientists and students at the UN Complex.

Tomorrow UNESCO and partners will be celebrating the International Day for Women and Girls in Science.
