Why scan images in regular patterns? Random patterns give extra information! In authors.elsevier.com/c/1awQI15DbnO4…, we extract the nanometer scale dynamics of defects in hBN, including blinking and state switching. As a bonus, atomic scale sample drift can be corrected. @STEM_LPS

Noémie Bonnet presented her work on NV0/NV- centers in diamond using PL and CL inside a STEM in the @STEM_LPS group meeting at the @LPS_Orsay . She showed us some real color CL emission (greenish light on the mirror) and how to place the sample at the correct height ;)
