Important news for voting in Washington state: I recently signed 5 election-related bills, including to respond to federal efforts to access voter data. We established a state-level voting rights preclearance process for jurisdictions that have previously violated voting rights laws. We amended who can challenge a voter’s registration. We clarified the statute that information like a voter’s driver’s license number, Social Security number, or full birth date is confidential, and made unauthorized disclosure of private voter information a class C felony.  We strengthened coordination between elections offices and federally recognized Tribes. And we strengthened the Washington Voting Rights Act by clarifying how voting rights violations are addressed and resolved.

The unanimous Declaration of the 27 counties in the geographical area Southwest of the Puget Sound and East of the Cascade Crest, We hold the spirit of the Declaration of Independence and its principles in esteemed regard. We recognize the Right of the People to dissolve the political bands that tie us to a government which has grossly infringed upon the Liberty of its Citizens, decimated the public trust in its institutions by weaponizing state mechanisms against its residents, and has willfully sacrificed the principles of natural law and the inalienable rights of its Citizens upon an ideological alter which is antithetical to the foundation of our Great Republic. We believe rights are that which does not require the time, talent, or fortune of another human being. We believe that Citizens should be free to live as they please so long as they are not harming or detracting from the life, liberty, property, or wealth of another. We profess our immutable belief that the most precious minority is the Individual, that Individual Liberty is the foundation of our Great Republic; and the sacred mandate entrusted to government through the consent of the governed is it’s duty to secure the Unalienable and Natural Rights bestowed upon us by our Creator. We hold that our most valuable possession is our children and it is necessary that we provide a new safeguard for the Liberty, Welfare, Fortune, Safety and Happiness of Posterity. The Government of the State of Washington and its bureaucracies have orchestrated a slow but persistent encroachment upon our Natural and Unalienable Rights culminating in the evisceration of Individual Liberty. To provide documentation of this egregious failure in upholding its sacred mandate we submit this evidence to our countrymen: *The Executive Branches use of extreme lockdown measures during Covid-19 which needlessly caused residents to lose their homes, wealth, and businesses *The Executive Branches deployment of state and local police and bureaucratic entities to harass, undermine, and intentionally stifle commerce during Covid-19 *The Executive Branches mandate which forced individuals to inject themselves with an experimental and unproven vaccine or face losing their jobs, careers, and pensions *The Executive Branches failure to protect the right of the People to engage in commerce regardless of medical status by allowing certain municipalities to force residents to show vaccine papers *The Executive Branches failure to protect the First Amendment rights of religious organizations to peaceably assemble while propping up and allowing widespread riots to materialize across the state causing billions in property damage, loss of human life, and personal financial loss *The Executive Branches failure to protect public and private property by conceding 6 blocks of Seattle, which is sovereign United States territory, to seditionists who claimed it to be no longer US territory and no longer subject to the Constitution resulting in excruciating damages to business, homes, and resulting in the murder of two teenagers and multiple shootings *The Executive, Legislature, and multiple municipalities violating federal immigration law by housing criminal aliens under the guise of “sanctuary cities” and being a “sanctuary state” *The Executive and Legislative Branches not requiring picture ID to vote while harboring criminal aliens in our state *The gerrymandering and redistricting of legislative maps to favor one political parties candidates over the other in violation of Section 2 of the Voting Rights Act *The Legislative, Executive, and Judicial Branches forcing counties to add more Commissioners against their will *The pressuring of Scott Smith by WSDOT and the Executive to blatantly lie that the Climate Commitment Act would not raise the cost of commodities or taxes upon the populace and the subsequent retribution against Smith for not lying to the people *The Legislative and Executive Branches signing into law SB 5599, which makes it legal for the state to “shelter” children seeking cross sex hormones or sex change surgeries and not notify the parents of the child either of their location or intentions *The Legislature and Executive Branches allowing males to use female bathrooms putting the safety of women and children at extreme risk *OSPI violating Title IX and allowing males into the bathrooms of females, allowing males to compete against females, ignoring the necessary requirement of safety for our daughters and denying them opportunity reserved for women *OSPI implementation of overt sexual materials and “comprehensivesex ed”, including providing pornographic material to extreme minors, for public schools *OSPI Superintendent Chris Reykdal refusal to enforce I-2081, the Parents’ Bill of Rights *State Senator Jamie Pederson stating that “Parents don’t have a right to have notice, they don’t have a right to have consent about that” discussing the Parents Bill of Rights *OSPI lowering academic standards in favor of introducing DEI and Critical Theory praxis and curriculum *OSPI ignoring the rights of an entire political demographic in an effort to subject that demographic to politically biased curriculum *The implementation of statewide “DEI” policies and law which directly resemble, and can be traced back to the Western Marxist ideology of Critical Theory *The failure of Washington State Courts to uphold I-976 which passed with a 53% Constitutional vote of the people pertaining to taxation on vehicle registration to appease bureaucratic entities in the Puget Sound region *The creation of the Domestic Extremism and Mass Violence Task Force whose seats have been filled by Marxist activists from PERIL, the ADL, Cedar River Clinics, Planned Parenthood, Black Lives Matter Seattle King County, and Washington Immigrant Solidarity Network, an ideologically leftist entity which will use government power to attack those who do not align with their ideology *King County Superior Court Judge striking down Initiative 2066 which would retain the right of the People to use readily available and affordable natural gas, which received 546,000 signatures and passed with a 51.5% Constitutional vote of the people *The Legislative, Executive, and Judicial Branches failure to uphold the Washington State Constitution and not tax the income of residents by passing ESSB 5096, which taxes the investment income of Citizens *The Legislative, Executive, and Judicial Branches absolute disregard and infringement upon Article 1 Section 24 of the Washington State Constitution and the 2nd Amendment of the US Constitution by passing House Bill 1240, which banned commonly owned firearms that are in common use and ownership directly and blatantly infringing upon the liberty of its Citizens *The Legislative, Executive, and Judicial Branches absolute disregard and infringement upon Article 1 Section 24 of the Washington State Constitution and the 2nd Amendment of the US Constitution by passing ESSB 1143, requiring a state issued permit to purchase a firearm *The Legislative and Executive Branches imposing of taxes upon the People with out our consent then putting those taxes to vote the following election cycle *The continual levying of taxes with out removal of prior taxes *The Legislative and Executive Branches reckless spending policieswhich have resulted in a 15 billion dollar budget shortfall *The Legislative and Executive Branches imposing catastrophic tax increases to make up for their reckless spending *The Legislative Branch seeking a 6-9 cent increase per gallon of fuel with a 2% inflationary adjustment starting in 2027 *The Legislative and Executive Branches wonton disregard for public safety through defunding police, welcoming vagrants to our cities, and allowing our state to become ridden with property crime and violent crime *The squandering of public money to fund activist organizations which flood our communities with homelessness, filth, crime, and drugs *The disregard for the safety of our children by allowing hypodermic needles to be passed out en masse to drug addicts who ultimately leave them laying in the open in public spaces such as parks and sidewalks These are but a fraction of the long train of abuses visited upon the People living outside of the Puget Sound region in Washington State. We the People have attempted to redress our grievances with Olympia over the course of decades of oppression, disregard, and infringements upon our unalienable rights. We have acted in good faith to find compromise in hope the courts would employ unbiased justice. Instead we’ve been met with contempt, authoritarian mandates, and the authoritarian practice of our lawful votes being overturned because they do not align with the ideology of the population centers around the Puget Sound. The institutions in our once great State of Washington have been captured and corrupted by Marxist bureaucrats and legislators who loathe the foundations of our Great American Republic and undermine that foundation at every turn. There can be no reconciliation or redress of grievances when two diametrically opposed ideologies exist under one roof. We prefer a peaceful separation so we may govern ourselves within the bounds of our culture and politics. That we may provide our children a future of prosperity where they will be afforded, with out infringement, the individual rights enumerated in the Constitution. Therefore, We the People and Representatives of Adams, Asotin, Benton, Chelan, Clark, Columbia, Cowlitz, Douglas, Ferry, Franklin, Garfield, Grant, Grays Harbor, Kittitas, Klickitat, Lewis, Lincoln, Okanogan, Pacific, Pend Orielle, Skamania, Spokane, Stevens, Wahkiakum, Walla Walla, Whitman and Yakima Counties appeal to Congress, the United States Constitution, and the spirit of the Declaration of Independence which began the great American experiment in self governance, that these 27 counties dissolve their ties with the Puget Sound counties known as the State of Washington, and be granted statehood within the Union of These United States.
