Reasons we lost last night:
- Players are tired af. At their 100% they don't lose any many second balls as they did.
- Arteta couldn't counter City's OOP set-up.
- Substitutions were delayed. Madueke, Calafiori, Martinelli all looked bright.
- Really wasn't our day.

It's not a pleasant feeling as an Arsenal fan, but tactically it was fun.
Albeit a bit concerning we never looked like having a solution to it throughout the 90 minutes.

Anyone else finding it a bit funny that Arteta said man-marking is ruining the game and then City went and zonalled him in the next game?

Love the idea of talent being emergent. A good player can be good or bad depending on the situation, how they're profiled and environment. KDH of Chelsea looks so different to the one of Everton but the player is the same. Can argue he's been better than the Chelsea mids today.

Barring the front three, the only shred of playmaking comes from Eze, who has been decent.
I don't see how we can break teams down when we're hell bent on playing Timber-Hincapie as our FBs.
Rice is obvious, I get Zubimendi but help the team with some on-ball quality at FB.

Bring in as many "mentality monster" as you want, this won't change until we win that title.
These players need to feel they own the place. There is enough quality there, the affirmation of their might is missing.
