Even when work took him down South and then overseas, he took every opportunity to pop back to Goldenacre to squeeze in a game with his old pals and we will miss him. Our thoughts are with his family and friends. He was one of the good guys. #foreveranail

At Goldenacre, we are deeply saddened to learn of the passing of our friend Arthur "Alfie" Conn. Alfie was a prominent member of the Heriot cricketing community from his days in the junior teams, through to proudly representing the 1stXI.

Yet again an FTP lacks in fairness and ambition. Wholly unfair for Zimbabwe, currently ranked 14th in WODIs and not even qualified for the WCQ, to be promoted to the women's championships because their men's team was good 30 years ago...
