@dougcliggott @ylanmui @brianschatz 2/2 Is that correction imminent? Or could it be years from now? Neither of us know the answer to that question. If someone chooses to trade stocks they should only trade what they’re willing to lose. But it’s not anyone’s job to discourage hinder or stop them.

A progressive tax. I think messaging is important and just passing an equal tax on everyone is just brain dead.

And yes, there could be thresholds below which the tax would not apply - those could be based on portfolio size, income level, trading activity. The tax should be very progressive - folks with huge portfolios should pay the lions share

Two retail investors with the same size portfolios, monthly incomes and net worth would have very different tax liabilities if one traded a lot and one a little, correct?
