Coach Forbes..never played for the man but he was my history teacher. A stern disciplinarian and a mountain of a man.He made an impression on me for sure.What a great example he set for his students..RIP SIR..we have lost a great one.

So many parents fail to realize...Coaches like players that are: hard workers, tough, reliable, dependable, self motivated, mature, and competitive!! Those same coaches can't wait to get rid of the players that don't display those traits!! Should the coach like your son?

Walking into a quality D-1 as a freshman is like winning a starting job at a perennial power HS as an 8th grader. The recruiting process is OVER!! The coach has 60 other players to chose from. You better be PHYSICAL, and you better be POLISHED, and you better be ready to COMPETE!

Players with bad attitudes often gravitate toward others with bad attitudes because they love to remind each other why it's everyone else's fault. Don’t be a cancer. Be a great teammate.

I learned a lot of new things this past weekend at the @NPA_Pitching clinic in New York. @tomhouse and @DeanDoxakisNPA talked a lot about how to stabilize your wrist (a mobile joint) while throwing a curveball. It makes the pitch more effective and safer! Listen in ⬇️
