Its funny because he knows how to word things fowards his target audience of non critical thinkers He may have had the funds available before sure, but that doesn't mean he had that amount available to spend on a house. That is unless you know you've got a top-up coming. So the point still stands in that you wouldn't have bought this house, for that much, without the 5 million donation. Ive got enough money to go and buy a nice new car - it'll dent my savings and not leave me anything else for emergencies - but I wont. Because while I may have it, my networth and my available safe to spend money are not the same. It's a shame that what is quite clearly a great British mind is instead being used to peddle hatred for the sake of power
Nigel Farage MP@Nigel_Farage

This is fake news by the establishment media who will do anything to hurt Reform as we challenge their cosy consensus. I had passed proof-of-funds and the relevant checks before receiving the gift. Sky News did not publish that part of our statement despite knowing the truth.

@Heccles94 @jpmorgan Whats great about the green party is that all you have to do is read some personal takes of your party members on the economy to realise you're economically inept

@DuxVul So you advocate for profiting off giving advanced education? How do you argue that with the country then: Retaining the talent Benefiting from the productivity boost holders of these degrees bring Because profiting off those who are educated just leads to people leaving UK

I make good money because I done an undergraduate and a masters degree. Im paying effectively over 50% in deductions each month. My loan balance is too high with the interest rates so im not even scratching the surface after hundreds a month. Do you not agree that charging interest to the point where the loan principle doubles is unsustainable? Also my friends a sparky too - Uni students may have been on the piss up for a few years but anyone on a site is on the packet for life 😂

Keir Starmer speech was mad disappointing tbh. He needed to come out swinging citing actual changes. His points on Nigel Farage and his lies during brexit that everyone seemingly forgot though? Chefs kiss

@Mind3374 @itfc_Jack7 Got severe doubts on that one bro. Show me your 99.74th percentile intellect then and tell me why you think immigration is the problem and not: 1) Fiscal drag on working class 2) Poor infrastructure for services 3) lack of societal integration Thanks

@CFCDan27 @Critch1605 @itfc_Jack7 I agree the British public have been wronged - and continuously so. I just fail to see how reform are any better when theyre just tory defects & ukip merger. They aren't true change, just more of the same. Also the IFS has basically said fuck knows what their economic plan is

@Mind3374 @Critch1605 @itfc_Jack7 Brother im sorry but no. When i say centrist I mean in terms of my political views. What you've described is people from both sides rallying under a common issue (unsustainable immigration) for the wrong reasons. I promise you Reform fix none of the actual issues at the root

@mdw49 @Critch1605 @itfc_Jack7 Yeah that's valid - i disagree with the "Nazi" framing towards reform voters completely so im with you on that. I didnt call him a nazi tho, just stupid

@STlFFY @Critch1605 @itfc_Jack7 I think there’s a massive difference between calling someone a mean name and calling someone a member of an organization which orchestrated one of the worst genocides in history but idk

@TRobinsonNewEra Why dont you tell your die hard British fans that Tommy Robinson isn't even your birth name... Is it maybe because your birth name might alienate you from the fan base you created by any chance?

@Critch1605 @itfc_Jack7 I'm centrist - I just don't think protest voting for a party with no economic or humane immigration plan is the flex some people think it is. (Also you started the weaponising of political sides first by calling them freaks. Don't expect you to understand that though dw)

@STlFFY @itfc_Jack7 This rhetoric the left of calling anyone that votes against their views either ‘stupid’ or ‘Nazis’ continues to be fruitful I see

Having a masters in advanced computer science really has to be the most depressing masters to hold. Everyone uses technology therefore, everyone assumes they know technology. My imposter syndrome gets cleared up just reading twitter takes sometimes tbh

@BladeoftheS Mixing and synthesising information to produce new outputs literally is intelligence. While I agree it's probably being used for surveillance to a disgusting degree - everything else in your life already does that. You probs wrote this on an iPhone (gg).

@itsthewealth4me Bang on. The state pension requires decades of NI contributions and still only pays ~£12k/yr - completely un-liveable. If a contributory system can't even cover basic needs, how would a contribution-free UBI ever be funded at a meaningful level?

Important to remember that UBI is not something meant to replace your current salary, if it ever happens it will be the minimum amount possible Please do not bank on that
