The money’s tempting, but the toll is scary. So, I’d choose not speaking for 5 years. It’ won’t be easy, but it won’t destroy my health or senses, and $5 million is life-changing. I could even use the silence as a way to sharpen other skills like writing, listening, or even learning sign language.
