We Nigerians really need to do better. Our greed for money is becoming alarming, and honestly, it is one of the reasons tourism may struggle to thrive in Nigeria even if we are given massive opportunities. If Nigeria experiences the level of global tourism seen in other parts of the world, many people would likely destroy the opportunity through overpricing and exploitation. Just listen to this opinion around shortlets versus hotels and you’ll see how greed is already destroying the shortlet business. From the average Nigerian on the street to people at the highest levels, all of us,without exception,seriously need to do better.
