Braden Smith just tested at a 38.5” max vertical jump. This is tied for 8th best at the NBA Combine. The fact people couldn’t see that he was an athlete at Purdue just means they weren’t actually watching.

@SVPAnalytics It'll give the new freshmen, who don't RS, and even Caden Pierce a good introduction to the Big 10. The Michigan, MSU, and Wisconsin road only games will be tough for them.

What are your thoughts?
I actually like this schedule. The road only games will be tough. The home only games should make up for it though. Illinois home and away should always be on the schedule.

@cincyboilers I would rather the schedule look hard. Purdue was never going to win the Big 10 last season with such an easy schedule on paper.

@SVPAnalytics Me neither, and this doesn’t set us up to change that by any means. But it does give Purdue a good shot to win a solid number of conference games and try and shoot for a good tourney seed.

@SVPAnalytics If we can get one of Wisconsin/Illinois on the road in December during Holiday Break, the road schedule isnt nearly as bad IMO

The Pacers did not tank. Adam Silver can't let the East be run by a small market team. However, he will let the whole league be run by a small market team that foul baits and plays football on defense the whole game. Great league Silver.
