ESPN owns all broadcasting rights to the CFP. All CFP money is paid by ESPN ESPN owns all SEC broadcasting rights. ESPN owns all ACC broadcasting rights. ESPN isn’t the primary owner of B1G or Big 12 rights anymore. ESPN doesn’t own primary Notre Dame broadcast rights. Is anyone surprised ESPN managed to invest $20 million in its main product and found away to shun a more deserving Big 12 program and/or Notre Dame to invest $4 million in its ACC product instead? Only $16 million to B1G and Big 12 where ESPN has minimal broadcasting rights compared to $32 million paid to ESPN owned conference rights. Follow the money and it all makes sense.

@OvertonCroomes No. Tech fans are frustrated with a fabricated KU accusation w/ disproportionate consequences. You’d be frustrated too. Also, only a few loud mouths want to leave. Trust me, the vast majority of us Tech fans love B12 & would rather invest in the B12 than join an arrogant SEC.

The #ACC has that. Beyond that, I’d rather be a leader in any P4 than non-P4 or in an overinflated, arrogant SEC.

@_bigounce Stop. We have something we can really build on in the Big 12. Yes, there will be frustrations and will have a few shit competitors. But those squabbles are not worth throwing away a good conference and the opportunity to be leaders in our conference.

The Big 12 has fined both Kansas and Texas Tech. Tech's fine is for repeated instances of objects being thrown onto the playing surface, while Kansas has been fined for disparaging comments about the conference and a member institution.
