In Villawood Detention Centre, a Southeast Asian trans woman has been detained for over ten weeks and denied essential medical care, including access to hormones. The conditions she is facing are a severe violation of her human rights, and a threat to her dignity and safety.

The Gardaí and the courts own statistics, as gathered by the Minister for Justice, show that hardly anyone is being prosecuted for purchasing sex. But these laws are harming sex workers. Who are the laws for? Definitely not for sex workers anyways.

what gets me is they knew this would happen. sex workers all over the world have shown time and time again the Nordic model gets us killed, they were told this would hurt us but they did it anyway. Now they are faced with the statistics and we live with the consequences
