Summer ball is right around the corner. Here is the summer schedule for our 27 and 28 Rockies Scout Teams. We are looking forward to a great summer.

Pounded the zone this Friday racking up 10ks through 5 innings 0 hits 1 walk. All my pitches were dominant and could throw them through any situations against our in county rivalry face off #agtg #2028

Yesterday’s game at the JetBlue Park in Ft. Myers against Ave Maria. Grand Slam from Jean Cuello #10 over the green monster.

Congrats to slugger Aiden Talarico for earning 1st Team All-Conference honors. Talarico was the only player in the state of Florida to rank in the top five in home runs with 17, RBIs with 73, and stolen bases with 23 while slugging .815 on the year

Our first of three 1st Team All-Conference picks is shortstop Nick April-Gath. A wizard with both the glove and the bat, April-Gath fielded .958 and was in on 21 double plays this season while also hitting .388 with 7 home runs and 58 runs scored on the year

Our final 2nd Team All-Conference pick is Jonah St. Antoine who posted a .377 average and a 1.032 OPS for the Bucs this season with 45 RBIs and 50 runs scored in 48 contests. He currently ranks second in program history with a .417 career batting average

Congrats to Bishop Quarles for picking up 2nd Team All-Conference honors. Quarles contributed across the board for the Bucs hitting .359 while accounting for 96 runs in 47 games played with 37 RBIs and 59 runs scored and also ranked third in the league with 24 stolen bases

Congrats to Judd Hildreth for earning 2nd Team All-Conference honors. Hildreth was lights out out of the FSW bullpen this season, ranking second among Citrus Conference relievers with 6 wins while leading the Bucs with a 2.93 ERA in 19 appearances

Congrats to slugger Robbie Demetree for being named a 2nd Team All-Conference selection. Demetree cranked 11 home runs and drove in 45 during the regular season, both of which ranked in the Top 10 in the conference

Congrats to Anthony Wilkie who has been named a 2nd Team All-Conference performer. Wilkie started 12 games for the Bucs and was tied for third in the Citrus Conference with 7 wins during the regular season, posting a 4.14 ERA with 58 strikeouts in 54 innings pitched

Congrats to Keenan Jabeth who has earned 2nd Team All-Conference honors during his freshman season! Jabeth stepped it up in conference play, posting a 1.235 OPS, hitting 5 of his 6 home runs and driving in 18 of his 23 runs on the year in league action!

Our first of 🔟 FSW All-Conference picks is Greg Caban who earns 2nd Team honors. Caban hit .323 in 41 games for the Bucs, cracking a pair of home runs and driving in 32 on the year.

Congrats to the 2026 Citrus Conference Fireman of the Year and 1st Team All-Conference performer Nick Lorenz. Lorenz led the country with 9 saves during the regular season and ranked third in the Citrus Conference with 12.90 strikeouts per nine in his 16 appearances on the year

Luke Falk shared a Mike Leach story that stopped me cold: Two kids. One rich. One poor. Every training camp, Coach Leach told his team about these 2 kids. The rich kid has two choices. Get soft. Get entitled. Expect everything handed to him because he was handed more. Or take the resources, the coaching, the opportunities, and compound them into something greater. The poor kid has two choices too. Say nobody gave him anything. Blame the world. Make his circumstances the reason he never became what he could have been. Or outwork everyone in the room. Luke said the locker room had both. Kids from wealth. Kids from nothing. Kids with every advantage. Kids who scraped for every inch. Same choice for all of them. Ownership or victimhood. Fuel or excuse. The rich kid can waste the head start or build on it. The poor kid can drown in the deficit or weaponize it. Greatness doesn't come from where you start.
